FELT created four public-making events using waste wool from NY/NJ farms, drawing 150+ participants over a year-long series in Brooklyn. Now My Home Is Here (Ode to Lisa Fittko)
Installation on the Ruta Walter Benjamin, 2025
In Collaboration with Rachel Dana
Beyond Borders Field Laboratory: Barcelona, Spain
Public Installation, Facilitation, Textile, Environmental Activation, Awareness Campaign
A part of the Beyond Borders Field Laboratory produced in collaboration with Barbara Adams and Jane Pirone. Now My Home is Here is an ode to Lisa Fittko and her work to save persecuted people from the Nazi-occupied France between 1940-41. The organic cotton banners, dyed with foraged cork oak ink, were produced through foraging and dying workshops and a collective pilgrimage on the path.
the Garbage Pearl Picnic
Habitat Restoration and Pollution Awareness Event, 2025
Gowanus Dredgers Boathouse
Event Production, Food Design, Brand Partnerships, Environmental Activation
the Garbage Pearl Picnic was an activation on the first day of open canoeing on the Gowanus Canal. Over 100 people came to engage with the multispecies that still thrive in a polluted canal and learn how to get involved in remediation efforts. This event included print design, a pollution- and canal-themed spread of food, found object cyanotype printing, and reclaimed oysters.
Thresholds, Portals, Liminal Spaces
Washington Square Park Zine Launch and Activation, 2024
In Collaboration with Kaye Yuvallos and Rida Chaudhry
Print Design, Public Activation, Ethnography, and Documentation
This zine was the culmination of research on interactions with the Washington Square Park Arch, an activation around thresholds as spaces of transformation. After gathering data on the moments people felt as though they were in a liminal space, the zine worked to push them into those moments. Over 350 Zines distributed, with 40 active follow-ups via Instagram messages.
